Project Aim

Rural entrepreneurs often face serious challenges due to limited access to training, innovation, and exposure to sustainable models. To tackle these issues, reGreen was launched as a collaborative international initiative to support rural entrepreneurs in building resilient, circular, and digitally-competent businesses.

Through this project, we aim to:

  • Transfer knowledge on circular and resource-efficient business models
  • Provide digital tools and entrepreneurial training
  • Empower participants to recover from COVID-19 setbacks and strengthen community resilience

Project Objectives

โœ… Strengthen connections among entrepreneurially minded people in rural areas
โœ… Support access to training on Circular Economy (CE) approaches
โœ… Promote Green Responsible Entrepreneurship (GREntrepreneurship)
โœ… Empower rural entrepreneurs to lead community resilience efforts
โœ… Support stakeholders to maintain sustainable practices
โœ… Build organizational knowledge in circular and digital solutions
โœ… Bridge the urbanโ€“rural gap in entrepreneurship resources

Approach

We use a multidisciplinary and practical approach that emphasizes:

  • Real-world application of circular economy concepts
  • Digital upskilling in business development
  • Inclusive and co-creative learning environments
  • Collaboration and knowledge exchange between rural and urban participants

Target Groups

Our target groups include:

  • Rural entrepreneurs and prospective entrepreneurs
  • Trainers, educators, and local development agents
  • Organizations working in entrepreneurship, sustainability, or rural development
  • Stakeholders and end-users engaged via Open House Events (at least 15 participants per partner)

Each partner will run active promotional campaigns and possibly conduct surveys to ensure alignment with project goals.

Impact

  1. Development of green and digital skills for rural innovation
  2. Enhanced community resilience and entrepreneurship networks
  3. More inclusive access to training and sustainable practices
  4. Growth of circular economy adoption in rural businesses
  5. Stronger cooperation between partners from Germany, Sweden, and Lithuania

Final Note

This project stands as a blueprint for rural empowerment and sustainability, showing how cross-border collaboration can plant the seeds for a greener and more inclusive future.
